Andrew grew up in San Mateo, CA and lived there for 9 years before moving to Niwot, CO. He attended Niwot Elementary, Longmont Jr. High School, and Niwot High School before graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1995. Lena grew up in Anoka, MN and lived there for 22 years. After graduating from Bethel College in 1995, she moved to Boulder, CO with two friends from school - Michelle and Jenn.

Andrew and Lena met and got married at Boulder Valley Christian Church in 1997. We moved to Denver, CO and became members of Fellowship Community Church in Centennial. Andrew works for Lucent Technologies and has survived the topsy turvy world of telecommunications. Lena worked for 7 years at Eagleton Elementary School before becoming a full-time mother. Hannah was born in 2002 and is a proud big sister. Karin was born in 2005.

We currently live in the University neighborhood of South Denver. We are members of Hope Community Church where Andrew is a youth sponsor and in charge of the web-site ministry and Lena is the Children's Ministry Director. We are part of a small group with other young families.

We are currently pursuing a short-term missions trip opportunity in Oaxaca, Mexico with Global Frontier Missions.
